Ginger, Candace, Eric, Daphne, Dad, Me
So this is my very first blog! I'll try to write in here as often as possible. I plan to keep this is an onlne diary for me (I can archive and print every month! and put it in a scrapbook)...and for my friends and family to check into what I'm doing at the moment, my future plans, and of course history, the past and everything in between. I titled my blog "sunday ....the most dreadul day of the week" because I hate Sundays! I'm hoping to write here on Sundays, amybe that will keep my spirits up!
For my first picture I have uploaded a picture of the family....everyone came to visit me in California in June. It was a quick 5 day trip, but we crammed in a lot in those 5 days. Favorite funny memory from the trip and more recently heard from Daphne during phone conversations..."crusing in the rental mini-van, usually running late to either get home to change or to pick up dad, candace and eric in the morning. We were flying over speedbumps and up and down the hills..not to mention, the gate guard let us in a million times without a 'sticker'....I feel really safe now!" Other funny memories:
- Ginger in Central Perk - she was so excited about the place, I couldn't help but laugh a little.
- The WB tour guide "On our left is the backlot stage area for ER... and the purple flowers on our right are pagonias (or whatever they were)".....who has their GAYdar on now?!
- Dad's green shirt matching exactly with the green screen for our photo op on the WB tour
- Riding bikes along the bike path from Santa Monica to Marina Del Rey.... losing dad because he stopped to take action shots of us...PAPARAZZI POPS!
- Ginger - "Can you take my picture in front the Beverly Hills sign?"....she finally got her shot the day before we left, and at the last minute too!
I know there are more, but I just can't think of everything right now! It's 4:38pm on a Friday afternoon and I can't WAIT to leave the office. I am house-sitting for Roxanne in a few weeks, and one of her dogs (Henry) is old and diebetic. I'm heading to her house after work to learn how to give him his shots so I'm prepared for my duties while house-siting. Poor Henry! Maybe I can take a picture and upload it here for you all to see. He is on eof the cutest dogs I've ever seen.
I am also moving to Brentwood on Monday after work. Quinn and I have pretty much packed up everything, we just can't wait to actually get there and start "living" again. It's been 3 weeks that her and I have been living in the house now, without a refridgerator or living area furniture. We've never been more excited for a weekend to pass as fast! Hurry up Monday! Sunday we are packing the U-haul and sleeping at Shannon's place because we have to be out of our house now by Sunday....perfect timing....almost to the hour. I will also post pictures here of my new place after we move.
