A lot has happened....
in a week or a little over a week. Hurricane Rita happened, the premieres of "Arrested Development", "Gray's Anatomy", and "My Name is Earl" were all hits to me. I also went to a show last week, Stellastarr*. It was great! Good crowd, and surprisingly a good setlist (surprising to me because usually I'm annoyed when an artist tours with a new album, and I don't know it yet). Let's see what else, The Ipod Nano is out and here is mine :)

It's so cute, I love it! Dad and I went to Hearst Castle too. It was gorgeous. A beautiful drive along the coast, about 3.5 hours from Los Angeles. The castle which was William Randolph Hearts' creation, is now owned by the state. If you are ever in the area, be sure to stop there and take one of the tours. It's absolutely beautiful. Here are a few pictures. I was particularily fascinated by the swimming pools:

We stayed in the town, Cambria, which is only about 5 miles from the castle. The town was a cute, small, mountain town. It reminded us of a little colorado town. The lodge we stayed in was nice too. Maybe someday I'll get a chance to go back to the castle to tour more of the rooms and see more of the property. But I'm glad I did get the chance to see what we did. (Thanks Pops!)
Friday night before leaving town on Saturday morning, Quinn and I went out with Justin, Shane and Aaron. We had dinner at the Father's Office. One of the best burgers I've ever had and I couldn't even tell you exactly what all was on it, but it was amazing! After dinner, we went back to their apartment for a bit, while the boys primped and we got the plan for the rest of the evening. We tried to go to The Buffalo club but it was lame. There was a line out front and no one inside (clue that the club is LAME). So we ended up at the Gas Lamp in Santa Monica, a hole in the wall, crowded karaoke bar. Not far from home either, which is always nice! Aaron and I signed up to sing "Nothings Going to Stop Us Now" together, but we didn't slide some extra cash to the karaoke DJ (I believe they call themselves KJs), like some people were doing, so we never got called up to sing. Oh well, another time for that. Here are some pictures though. Aaaron is in the green and Shane is singing.

So that is pretty much it for today's blog. I've posted a lot of pictures...and I hope my spacing works, but it never does, so here's to hoping! I'll try to start posting regularly again. Cheers to Monday, everybody!

Hey Robin! I hope you wanted me to find your blog...i've spent every spare moment this afternoon reading the whole thing! I like it- you've done really well. I wanted to comment on like every post, but I didn't have time for that!
Have you started your scrapbook yet? You should go with a theme...one line of paper. It will make it much easier on you! YOu can use your scraps on later pages!
Did you get your Donna Downey book? I love it AND I love her...hehe!
If you check out Lindsay's blog it won't be long before you have music on this thing!
I'll be checking back often...can't wait to read about you :)
OH- thanks for mentioning me and my pictures! I'm learning so much, but I really want speed course so I can learn everything right now and take even better pictures!
Thanks for reading Jamie! :) Your blog is much more interesting, so I don't know how you managed to read all of my entries in one sitting! Not to mention, I know how busy you are! I'm stilll waiting on the pictures from my friend Molly, before I start the book. But you're right, I'm definitely leaning towards the themed idea. Thanks for coming by and commenting :)
