Busy Friday

I've been so busy at work today, I shouldn't even be here typing in this blog, but I needed a break from the day's work.
I'm going to a show at The House of Blues tonight to see Howie Day with Quinn, courtesy of Season Kent, courtesy of Kevin Wang (BMG). Thanks! That is one great thing about this business..there are free tickets thrown around all of the time. And it's LA, just about everyone plays a show in this city on their US tour, Lucky me! I just found out Deathcab for Cutie is playing at the wiltern in November. I have to get my tickets tomorrow morning when they go on sale! I am super-excited about seeing them live. They are one of my favorite bands, and with a new CD out at the end of this month, it will be the perfect amount of time for me to get to know the new record before the show.
Here is a list of things I want (I didn't say I could get them all, so let's just call it a wishlist :) ):

-Apple Mac Mini computer, 1.42 Ghz with the superdrive!
-Book: Decorative Journals, By Donna Downey
-Tan color Chuck Taylor Converse All-Star shoes
-Music: Plans by Deathcab For Cutie (August 30th)
-A bedskirt to match my Nicole Miller beddding
-Bedroom curtain rod
-Plants and flowers for the apartment
-A new CD player in my car
-DVD: Drive well, Sleep Carefully/On the road with Deathcab for Cutie
-A haircut
-Oven mits or Potholders for the kitchen
-Cable TV
-Book: 1,000 Places To See Before You Die by Patricia Schultz

I know there's probably more...it's a wishlist! Maybe, I should wish for MONEY! :)
Anyway, Happy friday to everyone and enjoy the weekend.... xoxox, Robin

Wish I could send you a few plants from our house! You might be better at taking care of them than me, haha.
Have a good weekend :)
